Can You Actually Refill a Foger Vape?
The short, honest answer: no Foger vape currently sold in the U.S. is designed to be refilled with bottled e-liquid. The brand’s product line — Foger Bit 35K, Foger Switch, and Foger Switch Pro — is built around sealed, prefilled units.
Here is the distinction that causes most of the confusion online:
- Foger Bit 35K: A fully sealed disposable. When the e-liquid or battery is exhausted, the entire unit is discarded. It is not refillable.
- Foger Switch / Switch Pro: A two-piece system where a reusable battery base accepts a prefilled, factory-sealed pod. You replace the pod; you do not pour liquid into it. The pods themselves are not designed to be opened and refilled, and prying one open will typically damage the coil and seal.
If a forum post or video shows someone injecting e-liquid into a “dead” Foger with a syringe, understand that this voids any safety design, can short the lithium-ion cell, and is not endorsed by the manufacturer. We do not recommend it.
What Foger Is and Which Models Exist
Foger is a disposable and pod-based vapor brand distributed through U.S. vape retailers. Three product families are commonly stocked at the time of writing:
- Foger Bit 35K: Manufacturer claim of up to 35,000 puffs, 5% (50 mg/mL) salt nicotine, internal rechargeable battery, USB-C charging port. Single-use disposable.
- Foger Switch: Reusable battery base plus prefilled pod. Manufacturer claim of up to 20,000 puffs per pod. 5% salt nicotine.
- Foger Switch Pro: Larger battery base with prefilled pod, manufacturer claim of up to 30,000 puffs per pod. 5% salt nicotine.
Note on puff counts: Manufacturer puff claims for high-capacity disposables are generally optimistic. Independent bench tests by outlets such as Vaping360 and reviewer channels on YouTube consistently show real-world puff totals on 20K–35K class devices land roughly 40%–60% of the printed number, depending on draw length and wattage. Treat the box number as a ceiling, not a guarantee.

How the Switch Pro Pod System Works
The Switch Pro is the closest thing Foger offers to a “refillable” experience, so it deserves its own walkthrough.
The Pod Swap
- When flavor turns harsh or the screen indicator shows the pod is empty, pull the spent pod straight up out of the battery base.
- Remove the silicone plug from a new prefilled pod.
- Press the new pod into the magnetic well until it seats. The display should show full e-liquid level.
On the test bench, the magnetic connection holds firmly but can collect lint from a pocket. A quick wipe with a dry cotton swab on both the pod contacts and the battery contacts resolves most “not firing” complaints we have reproduced.
Charging
- Use the supplied USB-C cable plugged into a standard 5V/1A or 5V/2A wall adapter.
- Avoid high-output fast chargers (PD/QC bricks rated 9V or higher). The device will draw what it needs, but mismatched cables can cause heat buildup in cheap units.
- Do not leave the device on the charger unattended overnight.

Pod and Device Pricing (Observed)
Prices below were observed across multiple U.S. online vape retailers in November 2024. They will move with promotions, regional excise tax, and shipping minimums. Always confirm on the retailer’s own product page at checkout.
| Product | Typical Online Price (Nov 2024) | What You Get |
|---|---|---|
| Foger Bit 35K (full disposable) | $15.99 – $19.99 | One sealed unit, ~20 mL e-liquid (mfr. claim), 5% nicotine |
| Foger Switch Pro starter (battery + pod) | $17.99 – $22.99 | Reusable base + one prefilled pod, USB-C cable |
| Foger Switch Pro replacement pods (2-pack) | $17.99 – $24.99 | Two prefilled pods, 5% nicotine |
| Foger Switch Pro pods (single) | $9.99 – $13.99 | One prefilled pod |
Reference retailers used for the ranges above include EightVape, ElementVape, Vapor4Life, and Foger’s own distributor pages. Brick-and-mortar smoke shops we surveyed in three U.S. metros ran 20%–35% higher than online list price on the same SKUs.
Foger Switch Pro vs. Bit 35K Comparison

|---|---|---|
| Format | Reusable base + replaceable pod | Sealed disposable |
| Refillable with bottled juice? | No | No |
| Manufacturer puff claim | Up to 30,000 per pod | Up to 35,000 |
| Nicotine strength | 5% (50 mg/mL) salt nic | 5% (50 mg/mL) salt nic |
| Charging | USB-C | USB-C |
| Starter price (observed) | $17.99 – $22.99 | $15.99 – $19.99 |
| Refill cost going forward | ~$9–$13 per replacement pod | Buy a new device |
Practical Takeaway
If you intend to keep using the same flavor over several “refills,” the Switch Pro pod system has a lower running cost than buying a new Bit 35K each time, because you keep paying only for the pod, not the battery and shell. If you prefer to rotate flavors or are an occasional user, the all-in-one Bit 35K is simpler. For our hands-on notes, see our Foger Bit 35K review.
Where to Buy Foger Pods and Devices
- Foger’s authorized distributor sites: Best for verifying authenticity codes and getting the full flavor catalog.
- Established online vape retailers: EightVape, ElementVape, Vapor4Life, and similar shops typically run lower per-unit pricing and multi-pack discounts on Switch Pro pods.
- Local smoke shops: Useful when you need a replacement pod the same day; expect to pay a premium and a thinner flavor selection.
Counterfeit Foger units have been reported on third-party marketplaces. If a seller is undercutting the typical online price by more than 40%, treat it as a red flag. Each genuine box carries a scratch-off code that should validate on Foger’s official verification page.
Safety, Age, and FDA Status
Important Disclosures
- Nicotine is addictive. A 5% (50 mg/mL) salt-nic disposable delivers a high nicotine dose per puff. Dependence can develop quickly, especially in adolescents and young adults.
- Tobacco 21: U.S. federal law prohibits the sale of any tobacco or nicotine vapor product to anyone under 21. Retailers are required to verify age.
- FDA authorization status: As of this writing, Foger-branded products do not appear on the FDA’s list of authorized tobacco products. The FDA maintains a public list at fda.gov. Most high-capacity disposable vapes sold in the U.S. are marketed without a granted PMTA marketing order.
- Battery safety: Use only the included USB-C cable or a UL-listed 5V wall adapter. Do not charge unattended overnight. Stop using any device that becomes hot, swollen, or hisses.
- Storage: Keep away from heat, direct sunlight, and out of reach of children and pets. Liquid nicotine is poisonous if swallowed.
- Pregnancy and health conditions: Do not vape if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have a heart, lung, or seizure condition without talking to a clinician.
Hardware Trends Worth Knowing
Two practical shifts have hit the high-capacity disposable category over the last 18 months:
Pod-Based Hybrids
Brands including Foger have moved toward keeping the battery and discarding only the pod. This reduces electronic waste and per-puff cost — but again, the pods are still prefilled and sealed, not user-refillable.
On-Device Indicators
Small OLED screens showing battery and e-liquid level have become standard on 20K+ class devices. They reduce dry hits but do not increase actual coil life.
Frequently Asked Questions
No. Every Foger model currently sold — including the Bit 35K, Switch, and Switch Pro — is sealed at the factory. The Switch Pro accepts replacement pods, but those pods come prefilled and are not designed to be opened. Forcing a refill can short the battery and is not safe.
Observed pricing in November 2024 at major U.S. online vape retailers was roughly $9.99–$13.99 for a single pod and $17.99–$24.99 for a 2-pack. Local smoke shops typically charge 20%–35% more.
Rechargeable, yes — it uses USB-C. Refillable, no. When the e-liquid is gone, the unit is discarded.
As of this writing, Foger products are not listed on the FDA’s published list of authorized tobacco products. The FDA’s list is updated at fda.gov and should be consulted directly for the current status.
Check the scratch-off code on the box against the verification page on Foger’s official site. Be cautious of marketplace listings priced far below standard retail.
Use the included USB-C cable with a standard 5V/1A or 5V/2A wall adapter, or a laptop USB port. Avoid high-wattage fast chargers and do not leave the device charging unattended.
The three common causes are low battery, debris on the pod-to-battery contacts (on Switch/Switch Pro), or a saturated airflow sensor. Charge it, wipe the magnetic contacts with a dry cotton swab, and let it sit upright for several minutes. If the indicator still fails, the pod or device may be defective.
In independent tests across the high-capacity disposable category, real-world totals typically come in at roughly 40%–60% of the labeled number, depending on draw length and how often the device is used. Treat manufacturer puff claims as a ceiling.

Best strawberry flavor I have tried in years
The Strawberry Watermelon refill is honestly perfect and doesn’t taste like chemicals at all. I am easily getting through the full puff count without any burning, which always happens with other brands. Definitely sticking with Foger from now on.

Great value and flavor consistency is amazing
I switched to these after getting tired of overpriced disposables that die too quickly. The flavor holds up until the very last drop, and it feels much more cost-effective. Highly recommend if you want something reliable for daily use.

Really solid refills but shipping took forever
The Blue Razz flavor is super smooth and hits much harder than the generic stuff I buy at the local gas station. I just wish the shipping was a bit faster as I ran out before my package arrived. Solid product though.

Good battery life and decent flavor options
I’ve been using these for a few weeks now and the battery life on my device lasts way longer than when I used those cheaper refill pods. The Mint flavor is refreshing but a little bit strong for my taste. Overall, a very decent alternative to the big name brands.

Average experience with the Mango refill
The Mango flavor is okay, but it gets a little muted after just a few days of regular vaping. It is definitely better than some of the bottom-shelf brands out there, but I was hoping for something a bit more vibrant. It does the job in a pinch.

Not bad but leakage is a concern
The flavor quality is pretty good compared to other refillables I have tried recently. However, I noticed some slight leaking into the battery compartment which is a bit of a annoyance. If they fixed the seal quality, this would be a five star product.
